Tips and Strategies to Help Players Score Platinum on Kingdom Goals

Requires: Thoughts and Prayers (Silver) and Hard Workers (Gold)

Annex Burdley - This can be done solo by a Wizard. Burdley reduces RP costs by 25%, which is the perfect thing for this type of Quest. Your renown will go up the same, but RP will not be drained as quickly by purchasing buildings.
Annex Advorton - This Tip applies to every Kingdom Ambition in The Sims Medieval. It will give you many more QP to play with if you do this as soon as you hit 160 Renown. You'll need a Spy, Wizard, or Physician at level 5 and the Monarch to do the required quest. It will reduce the QP cost of all Quests costing 3 or 4 by 1. Don't let the extra QP bother you. Once you've reached platinum in an Ambition you can repeatedly start then cancel quests to drain your QP. Do this by heading to the Kingdom Screen's Quest tab.
Play Heroes like the Spy, Knight, and Monarch - These guys get access to opportunities when doing missions on the high seas or off the forest or village shoppe that can and do increase Renown. Take the high road and choose options that seem noble -- makes sense if you're looking for fame and not infamy. But it's OK, go ahead and try to kill the Unicorn!
Don't Blow Your RP - You could have 700 renown but finish this with only 25 RP left and end up placing Bronze. Now wouldn't that be embarrassing? Don't spend RP on structures you don't need -- only when you need to raise capacity. And, when your QP dwindle down to about 10 work up to 75RP and don't spend another point!
