New Beginnings Tips
- Take Your Time - This is your first Kingdom Ambition. You should stretch out your Quests to achieve platinum rewards which will give you more RP, the sole resource needed to build all 13 buildings. Do about one step per day and catch up when you start to fall behind. It will warn you before it starts degrading performance. As always, keep that focus high and the Quest progress bar will tick upward.
- Annex Burdley - Learn about Annexing other Nations. You can do this one at 160 Renown, as below. It synergizes well with the quest for Advorton as it will reduce the RP cost of buildings. Make it to 160 Renown with only a Wizard Tower or Spy Quarters and you'll be able to use the 25% off building costs to really boom your Kingdom.
- Annex Advorton - This Tip applies to every Kingdom Ambition in The Sims Medieval. It will give you many more QP to play with if you do this as soon as you hit 160 Renown. You'll need a Spy, Wizard, or Physician at level 5 and the Monarch to do the required quest. It will reduce the QP cost of all Quests costing 3 or 4 by 1. Don't let the extra QP bother you. Once you've reached platinum in an Ambition you can repeatedly start then cancel quests to drain your QP. Do this by heading to the Kingdom Screen's Quest tab.
- Learn the Game - This Kingdom Ambition is probably the easiest one to accomplish. Take some time and learn good strategies to increase your Hero's focus. Fish for better food, and make money through your Sim's profession to buy even better stuff if your Sim can't hunt. The beach has some great fishing spots. Upgrade each hero's bed as early as you can to get a better Well-Rested focus buff.
- Don't Go Overboard - Placing too many buildings can cause your Kingdom's metrics to bottom out faster. Focus on developng a couple of areas based on your knowledge of Kingdom Aspects to hunt bonuses you desire.
